About Lynn

Lynn Moresi is a series of contradictions. She is a Pentecostal minister who is passionate about engaging with the Holy Spirit, teaching others how to hear the voice of God and moving in the prophetic, and yet she is just as comfortable at a silent retreat sharing the Eucharist, meditating or walking the Labyrinth.

She lectures at Bible Colleges and Seminaries in the disciplines of Homiletics, Ministry of the Holy Spirit and Ecclesiology, yet her doctoral thesis (Fuller Seminary) was in the area of Spiritual Formation and navigating ‘The Dark Night of the Soul’ and she is a passionate teacher of the Enneagram.

Lynn is a woman of faith who believes in the supernatural presence of God, yet she often speaks about the great need to engage with doubt and uncertainty in the journey toward Christlike maturity.  She regularly preaches to large congregations, yet she loves to spend time one-on-one with pastors and leaders who are seeking Spiritual Direction/Coaching. She often travels overseas to minister, but is just as content to curl up on the couch with a good book.

Lynn is an extrovert who likes to laugh out-loud, she enjoys ‘entertaining the troops’, yet she frequently withdraws from the crowd in order to renew and recharge in silence and solitude. She loves the hustle and bustle of the city streets and a good shopping centre sale, but she cannot survive without the stillness of the forest and long walks with her dog along her favourite mountain tracks.

Having moved into her ‘second-stage of life’, Lynn is now comfortable living in the tension between two seemingly contradictory worlds and enjoys the richness and diversity of her life.  Lynn and her husband, Greg, have two adult children and live in Melbourne, Australia.
