Dr. Lynn Moresi
Cultivating self-awareness that strengthens relationships and shapes wise leadership
About Lynn Moresi
Dr. Lynn Moresi is a Professional Supervisor, Spiritual Director, Enneagram Trainer, and University Lecturer in Spirituality and Professional Supervision.
Drawing on doctoral research and years of experience in higher education, spiritual care, and pastoral leadership, she designs and leads professional development workshops that deepen reflective practice and explore the complexities of human experience — from leadership and vocation, to grief and loss, hope, courage and transformation.
Her workshops are interactive and reflective, inviting participants to engage with themes such as liminal space, emotional awareness, diversity, calling, and vulnerability.
An AAOS-accredited Trainer of Supervisors, Lynn brings both academic rigour, lived wisdom, compassion and a sense of humour to her Supervision work with both individuals and groups across diverse professional contexts.

Professional Supervision
I offer professional supervision for individuals and groups (up to six participants), tailored to the needs of practitioners across diverse contexts in people-facing roles —including leaders, executives, CEOs, coaches, pastoral practitioners, spiritual directors, counsellors, chaplains, educators, and others whose work involves significant relational, ethical, or emotional responsibility.
Sessions are available face-to-face or online, providing flexibility without compromising depth or rigour.
My hope is to approach our supervision relationship as a professional partnership that invites reflection not just on what we do, but on how we operate within our roles: the assumptions we carry, the authority we hold, the systems we work within, and the impact we have. I seek to create a contemplative space to step back, observe our patterns, and make conscious choices about how we lead, support, and stay accountable.
As an AAOS-accredited Supervision Trainer, I partner with universities and training organisations to design and deliver high-quality training for emerging supervisors. My focus is on building strong foundations: theory, practice frameworks, ethical competence, and the confidence to begin supervisory work with clarity and skill.
I also work with experienced supervisors to extend and refine their practice. This includes advanced skills development, reflective practice intensives, and support in navigating the complex realities of contemporary supervision. The aim isn’t simply maintaining competence — it’s cultivating depth, agility, and leadership within the field.
"During a challenging season of leadership as a not-for-profit CEO, supervision with Lynn has provided me with a steady and reflective space. Her insight, careful questioning, and grounded presence supported clearer thinking and renewed perspective. This work made a meaningful difference to how I lead and I am deeply grateful for her support."
"I have appreciated my supervision time with Lynn enormously. She has offered a calm and compassionate space in the midst of my challenging role in pastoral and spiritual care. Lynn’s capacity to listen deeply and ask thoughtful, timely questions helped me make sense of my own reactions, vulnerabilities, and leadership responsibilities. The insight and grounding gained through this work has been both sustaining and formative and has helped me in my relationships with those I manage and supervise."
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction offers a reflective, attentive space to notice where God, meaning, and truth are stirring in your life. I accompany people who want to listen more deeply—seeking faithful presence rather than answers—especially in seasons of transition, uncertainty, or quiet longing.
Despite the title Spiritual Director, I won’t be telling you what to do or offering advice about how you should live. Instead, spiritual direction is a practice of accompaniment: walking alongside you, helping you notice, understand, and discern where Spirit is present and active in your life, work, and relationships.
"Dear Lynn, thank you for listening so deeply and without judgment. When faith felt fragile and hope had slipped away, your steady presence gave me space to breathe again. You didn’t try to fix or explain, but simply stayed with me — and that was an immense gift. Your understanding and gentleness have helped me begin to find my footing again, even in the midst of this uncertainty."
Enneagram
The Enneagram is a powerful framework for understanding the deeper motivations that shape how we think, relate, and act.
As a qualified Enneagram Trainer with more than 15 years experience in working with Enneagram Typology, I deliver professional Enneagram workshops for teams and groups, focusing on improving collaboration, communication, and mutual understanding. The aim is practical: helping people to understand themselves and each other in order to work together more effectively and draw the best from one another.
I also offer one-on-one Enneagram work to help individuals clarify their patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and develop a more intentional way of engaging with the world.
"A consummate professional, Dr Lynn Moresi brings the Enneagram to life with rare contextual clarity clarity, empathy, and depth. Her teaching is engaging and insightful—compassionate yet courageously direct—creating spaces where people feel both safe and challenged to grow. I’ve engaged Lynn to present the Enneagram several times, and participants are consistently captivated by the way she makes complex insights immediately practical and personally relevant. I’ve also benefited from Lynn’s deep understanding of the Enneagram in my own professional and personal relationships; her wisdom brings fresh awareness and compassion to how we engage with ourselves and others. Drawing on her experience as a professional supervisor and lecturer, Lynn integrates the Enneagram’s transformative insight into her work with a distinctive blend of honesty, warmth, and professional rigour that consistently leaves a lasting impact."
"My Enneagram session with Lynn was a pivotal moment in my leadership journey. Her professional, insightful approach created space for deep personal reflection and practical growth. Years later, the insights I gained continue to shape how I lead, make decisions, and build relationships. As someone serving in a global context, this greater self-awareness—understanding how I’m wired and how I’m perceived—has been essential. It has helped me engage more effectively across cultures, navigate complexity with wisdom, and lead with greater emotional and spiritual intelligence. Lynn’s input has had a lasting impact on my life and leadership."
Professional Development Workshops
I offer single-session, half-day, and full-day interactive workshops for organisations, senior leadership teams, businesses, educational bodies, churches, and other groups seeking high-quality professional development. The themes listed below provide examples of my work, but every workshop is tailored to the specific needs and context of the group.
The workshops I design are grounded in solid research and years of teaching in university and higher-education contexts, but they are never abstract or dull. I work hard to make complex ideas accessible and engaging, using story, images, conversation, and practical activities that keep people involved. Each session is both practical and personal, shaped by the belief that people who understand themselves are better able to lead clearly, collaborate well, and support others to do their best work.

"Lynn is an outstanding presenter and facilitator! In our recent workshop with Pastoral and Spiritual Carers from all arms of Mercy Health, Lynn used story, poetry, music, images, scripture, humour and much more to create an engaging and interactive exploration of the topic: Transitions – Beyond Certainty. Having been to many presentations and workshops across my 30 years of professional life, Lynn’s session stands out for its careful curation of content, as well as lively and deeply sensitive delivery. I would highly recommend Lynn to any organisation or group looking to explore questions of spirituality, faith, life journey, meaning & purpose, and the depths of human experience."
